E-news CAS 2017, No. 4

Reminding you: “IEEE International Semiconductor Conference-CAS 2017” (www.imt.ro/cas)
The deadline for uploading of the proposals for contributed papers to CAS 2017 (an IEEE event, 11-14 of October, 2017, Sinaia, Romania) has been delayed from 25th of May, 2017 until 12th of June, 2017.
The same announcement will be posted soon on http://www.epapers.org/cas2017. Examine this page closely in order to comply with all requirements. Your contribution is requested (as a 4 page extended abstract) in one of the following fields:
1. Nanoscience and Nanoengineering
2. Micro-and nanophotonics
3. Microwave and Millimeter Wave Circuits and Systems
4. Microsensors and Microsystems
5. Modelling
6. Semiconductor Devices
7. Integrated Circuits
All papers accepted to the conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
All papers presented to the Conference will be available in IEEE Xplore.
Selected papers can be published in an extended version in a special issue of an ISI indexed journal.
An unusually large number of invited speakers are presenting talks at this 2017 edition of CAS. See detailed information about speakers and their talks here.
Students sessions, with contributions in the same standard format are organized (Ph.D. students from all countries are eligible). A discount from the conference fee may be obtained. The organizers are also discussing the possibility to introduce a “Young Scientist Award” for more mature scientists (with a Ph.D. degree).
The conference takes place (11-14 October 2017) in Sinaia, Romania, with a lot of attractions around. Free transportation is provided from/to Bucharest International Airport. Apart from Conference Dinner (12th of October, 2017), a special visit is planned at the Cantacuzino Castle, with an evening concert in a superb music hall (13th of October, 2017).
