Places to visit
The venue of CAS 2015 conference is Hotel RINA Sinaia (http://www.hotelsinaia.ro/en/). The town, Sinaia, was named after Sinaia Monastery, around which it was built; the monastery in turn is named after the Biblical Mount Sinai. Peles Royal Castle and Pelisor Castle (http://visit.peles.ro/) are within 15-20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The Peles castle, former royal residence, has a Neo-Renaissance architectural style while Pelisor castle has an Art Nouveau architectural style.
The Cantacuzino Castle (www.cantacuzinocastle.com/, in Romanian), situated in the town of Busteni (8.5 km from Sinaia), is open for visit. castle is surrounded by waterfalls, caves and fountains and is in top castles in Romania in terms of architecture.

The Bran Castle (from the XIV century, recently related to the famous “Dracula”) may be visited in a few hours trip (http://www.bran-castle.com/). It is situated in the picturesque Bran Valley, only 60 km distance from Sinaia via Paraul Rece. If wish to visit the Bran Castle, Sunday 11th of October, we can schedule a trip for you.
