We are looking forward to meeting you at the 47th International Semiconductor Conference CAS 2024, an IEEE EDS event (IEEE Electron Devices Society), where you will find the perfect environment for presenting your innovative ideas and recent advances in the field of micro- and nanotechnologies and semiconductor devices.
The conference will take place in the period October 9 - 11, 2024 in the beautiful and historical mountain resort of Sinaia, Romania. Details
You are invited to submit original papers on the following topics: Nanoscience and Nanoengineering; Micro- and Nanophotonics and Optoelectronics; Microwave and Millimeter Wave Circuits and Systems; Microsensors and Microsystems; Modelling; Semiconductor Devices; Integrated Circuits. Details

We are pleased to announce the first confirmed Invited Speakers at CAS 2024:
- Dr. Bogdan Tudor, Director and Head of the Device Characterization Group at SILVACO, USA. He will present advances in circuit simulation device models for real-world applications, including some of the key developments in device models for circuit simulators (SPICE), encompassing a diverse array of technologies, including novel devices.
- Dr. Maria Losurdo, Director of the Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry and Energy Technologies - CNR-ICMATE, Italy
- Prof. Daniela Dragoman, Professor at University of Bucharest, Faculty of Physics, Romania. She will present a paper concerning transmission line analogy in plasmonics.
- Dr. Mircea Dragoman, President of the Scientific Council of National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies - IMT Bucharest, Romania, Senior researcher I in the Laboratory for Micromachined structures, microwave circuits and devices (RF-MEMS) at IMT Bucharest. He will present a comprehensive collection of the most promising developments of ultrathin ferroelectric-based nanoelectronic devices and their applications, together with current limitations and perspectives for future enhancements.
- Dr. Neculai Plugaru, Senior researcher I in the Simulation, Modelling and Computer-Aided Design Laboratory at the National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies - IMT Bucharest, Romania. His presentation will be focused on modeling ferroelectric interfaces using DFT methods.
- Prof. Radu-Emil Precup, Professor at Politehnica University of Timisoara, Department of Automation and Applied Informatics, Romania. He will present the paper Evolving Fuzzy Models and Transportation Applications.
- Dr. Valentin Serban Teodorescu, Senior researcher I at the National Institute of Materials Physics, Romania. His talk will be dedicated to nanostructure of BiFeO3 and LaFeO3 epitaxial films obtained by PLD for photochemistry applications.
