The Centre of Nanotechnologies was recognized at national level, and funded between 2001 and 2004, by the National Programme "RELANSIN", as a Centre of Excellence in Nanotechnology.
We have obtained a gold medal at the International Invention Salon from Geneve for Nanoelectrodes for pollution control (Irina Kleps, Anca Angelescu, Mihaela Miu, Monica Simion) and we hold a Romanian Brevet 119032 /2004 on this issue.
Centre of Nanotechnologies from IMT-Bucharest has two contributions in the Encyclopedia in Nanotechnology, Edited by Hari Singh Nalwa in 2004 (Irina Kleps Electrochemical Nanoelectrodes; Mihai Mihaila - Low Frequency Noise in Nanomaterials and Nanostructures).
