National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies - IMT Bucharest
The National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies - IMT Bucharest (IMT) is a Romanian institute that stands out in the national and European RDI ecosystems.
IMT was set up in 1993, as the first research unit devoted to microtechnologies (microsystem technologies) from Eastern Europe. This initial unit composed of R&D specialists from the microelectronic industry merged in 1996 with the 1969-founded R&D Institute for Electronic Components (ICCE) and reached a National R&D Institute status. Thus, the starting asset of IMT was the highly qualified scientific and technical personnel that came both from the electronic components research community and the local microelectronics industry. This translated into a thorough S&T knowledge and expertise and in a fast dynamic after that.
At present, IMT is an elite RDI organization, recognized nationally and at the European level for the expertise, innovation dynamics and experimental facilities, in micro- nanoelectronics and photonics, micro- nanotechnologies, advanced materials and micro- nanosystems.

University of South-Eastern Norway - USN (P1) is Norway’s fourth largest university. It employs 1,700 people and offers an education to about 18,000 students. USN, which is involved in both basic and applied research at regional, national and international levels. The USN group in SuPriM is from the Department of Microsystems (IMS), which has been dedicated to a strategic and long-term development of research and education in applied micro and nanosystems technology. The research infrastructure at IMS has a national standing. USN IMS’s expertise matches well with the project tasks specified for USN in SuPriM. Key project members have internationally renowned expertise of excellence in supercapacitor research, Si micro- and nano-fabrication and functional materials.

SWISO ELECTRIC (P2) is a SME with fully private capital. The main activity of the company is design and execution of electrical installations, overhead or underground electrical lines with nominal voltages of 0.4-110kV, transformer substations with a maximum nominal voltage of no more than 20 kV, testing of electrical equipment and installations. SWISO ELECTRIC SRL has implemented an integrated management system according to the standards ISO 9001:2015, SR EN ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2008 certified by AEROQ. SWISO ELECTRIC obtained from the National Energy Regulatory Authority - ANRE type A certificate for testing of electric power equipment, type B certificate for design and execution of interior electrical installations for civil and industrial constructions, aerial and underground connections, at a voltage of 0.4 kV, type C1A certificate for design of power lines, overhead or cable, with voltages between 0.4-20kV and substations, type C2A / C2B  certificate for execution of power lines, overhead/underground or in cable, with voltages between 0.4-20kV and transformer stations.
