Dr. Luigi Di Benedetto,

Assist. Professor, University of Salerno, Department of Industrial Engineering, Microelectronics Laboratory

Dr. Luigi Di Benedetto received the Ph.D degree in Electronics Engineering in 2013 from the University of Salerno, Italy, and since 2018 he is Assistant Professor in Electronic Engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering. In 2013 he worked as Visiting Scientist at the Fraunhofer IISB and at Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nurnberg, Germany, investigating on blocking behavior of 4H-SiC high voltage bipolar devices. In 2008 he has been Visiting Student at KTH - Stockholm, Sweden, and he worked on the fabrication and electro-thermal characterizations of SiGe IR Multi Quantuum Well bolometers. Since 2020 he is IEEE Senior member.
His main research interests include the modeling, simulation and development of high-power and sensor electronic devices based on wide bandgap semiconductor, the design of analogue and digital integrated circuits in SiC technology and of VLSI systems, and the design of power electronics circuits. He is author and co-author of over 90 papers in journal and conferences.
