Dr. Mihai Lazar
CNRS Researcher, Ph.D (HDR), Affiliation: L2n-CNRS EMR 7004 & UTT Troyes, FRANCE
Mihai Lazar received engineering and Ph.D degrees from INSA Lyon, France, in 1998 and 2002.
From 2002 Dr Mihai Lazar is a CNRS Permanent Researcher with HDR (Habilitation) since 2018.
He is a WBG material - semiconductor technology specialist, a former member of the AMPERE lab, focusing his research activity to develop power integrated systems on WBG materials. His technology experience was also applied to realize UV optical, radiation, and bio-sensors.
He joined the L2n (Light, nanomaterials, nanotechnologies) in 2018, developing a SiC new platform based on means of the L2n and ESIEE Paris cleanrooms.
He has an internationally recognized expertise (>20 years) on the technology fabrication (doping, plasma etching, contacts, thin film elaboration) and characterization of WBG semiconductors. He is author or co-author of 2 patents and more than 100 articles and has coordinated and participated (as partner coordinator) to several national ANR (JFET-SB, COTHT, VHVD, VLOC, HVPhoto-SW, MUSIC, TempoScopy) and European (I-SMART) projects.
