Objectives
The main target of the project is the development of a new class of monolithic integrated duplexer circuits, based on two GaN/Si Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) band pass filters (BPF) operating in the satellite communication bands (7.25 – 7.75 GHz) and (7.9 – 8.4 GHz) and a phase compensation network.
The Project Objectives are:
O1. Advanced modeling and design based on multi-physics modeling, full wave electromagnetic simulations and circuit optimization;
O2. Technological development of high-Q SAW resonators with increased electromechanical coupling coefficient and resonance frequencies up to 9 GHz;
O3. Advanced experimental characterization techniques and equivalent circuit parameter extraction.
