Objectives
The specific objectives of this proposal are: (i) to integrate the colloidal CQDs into the adequate heterojunction CQD-LED architecture. It is estimated that at the end of this project an advanced LED device will be obtained, capable of white-lighting and with enhanced stability and efficiency, to the point where it can become performant, reproducible and practical.
(ii) to validate our analytical and experimental predictions on the role played by grafting the CD backbone with conjugated oligomer ligands in attaining superior photoluminescence, extended lifetimes, as well as control and stability of emitted color in the final active layer.
